Giving Focus: Nursing education is something important to us as our daughter was a pediatric nurse practitioner who worked with young cancer patients. Being able to support a nursing student is very meaningful to us. Also, the work and resource provided by Grassroots is something that is of a great benefit to Howard County.
Why It Matters to Them: “Having been residents of Howard County for over 50 years, we have been fortunate to have raised our family here in a safe, comfortable environment, and the opportunity to give back to the community is important to us.”
CFHC Connection: Steve had the opportunity to work on a CFHC committee and “got to see the very good work done by the Foundation … being able to participate in that work in a small way is what motivated us to be contributors.”
