The Community Foundation of Howard County (CFHoCo) is pleased to announce that Davis, Agnor, Rapaport & Skalny, LLC (DARS) has been selected as the Corporate Philanthropist of the Year for 2025. This honor recognizes the firm’s outstanding commitment to giving back, its culture of service and its leadership in strengthening the Howard County community.
Each year, CFHoCo highlights individuals and organizations whose generosity and vision make a lasting difference. The Corporate Philanthropist of the Year award is presented to a business that demonstrates exceptional dedication to community service, philanthropic giving and civic leadership.

Founded on principles of collaboration and service, DARS has long been a trusted partner to its private clients and nonprofits. The firm’s attorneys and staff actively volunteer, serve on nonprofit boards, and provide pro bono legal counsel to organizations advancing equity, education, and opportunity.

The award will be formally presented on December 9 at CFHoCo’s Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City. The Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy is the Foundation’s signature event, bringing together community leaders, donors and partners to honor those who exemplify the power of giving. Howard Community College is the presenting sponsor of the event. Alongside DARS, the evening will recognize other outstanding philanthropists, volunteers and nonprofits to celebrate the impact of philanthropy across Howard County.
