It is with heavy hearts that the Community Foundation of Howard County shares the passing of Thomas C. Mulitz. Mr. Mulitz, passed away on Thursday, April 8.
Known to most as Tommy, he and his wife Shelley Gudelsky Mulitz have been active in Howard County philanthropic circles for decades. The couple opened an endowed, unrestricted fund at the Community Foundation in 2005. The Mulitz-Gudelsky Family Fund continues to be invested at CFHoCo and annually helps support community grants throughout Howard County.
The Mulitz Family are also supporters of Glenelg Country School. Mr. Mulitz served as a trustee of GCS from 1986-2002, and he is the namesake of the Mulitz Theater in the GCS Middle School.
Tommy was a devoted father of Morty (Meghan) Gudelsky, Dana (Andris) Zobs, Jill (Darius) Bikoff, Laura Gudelsky Mulitz and Michelle (Ben) Feldman, and the loving grandfather of Quincy and Violet Gudelsky, Jonah Zobs, Ella and Beau Bikoff and Charlie and Effie Rose Feldman.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private.
