Doug Myers needs your help to support Nic’s Fund!
“I am raising money by asking supporters to pledge an amount for
every pound I lift in the upcoming Maryland State Powerlifting Championship.
All proceeds will benefit the Nicholas S. Dahl Charitable Fund.”
Nic’s Fund helps advance causes that were meaningful to him, including the arts, mental health, literacy, and food insecurity. The Fund has already supported projects such as expanding a recovery house in Los Angeles, helping feed people in need through the Howard County Food Bank and the Franciscan Center in Baltimore, and establishing two programs in Nic’s name—a visiting artist residency at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum and a poetry workshop at the American Visionary Arts Museum—that provide creative and educational opportunities for young artists and writers.
