Dates Set for 2023 CFHoCo Spring Party, Annual Dinner

The Community Foundation of Howard County (CFHoCo) has announced the 2023 dates for its two signature fundraising events. The events help raise critical operating funds for the foundation’s mission to connect people, places and organizations to worthy causes across Howard County and beyond.

The Spring Party will be held on the evening of Wednesday, May 24 on the grounds of The Apple Ford Center at Athol Manor in Columbia. Serving as the foundation’s headquarters since September of 2021, historic Athol Manor proved to be a practical and fun location for the Spring Party in 2022. With a tasty variety of food trucks, wine, local beer and Sobar zero alcohol offerings served by guest bartenders, live music and party tents covering a guest list of community leaders and foundation friends last spring, the Spring Party continues to be the networking event of the season in Howard County.

The foundation’s Annual Dinner and Celebration of Philanthropy is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, December 7, 2023. The site for the special community event will be announced later this year.

For the first time in years, we gathered in person for a joyous evening of food, fellowship and philanthropy in early December 2022. The sold-out night began with a cocktail reception, followed by a seated dinner and program highlighted by awarding the foundation’s philanthropy awards, including an individual and corporate Howard County “Philanthropist of the Year.”
