Leadership Council Gathers for Spring Luncheon at Athol Manor

The Community Foundation of Howard County welcomed members of its Leadership Council to Athol Manor for a Spring Luncheon – bringing together past and present executive leaders and former Board Chairs whose vision continues to shape our impact.

The gathering offered time to reflect on 2025 progress, look ahead to 2026 priorities, and engage in meaningful conversation about the future of philanthropy in Howard County.

“Bringing together trusted voices, fresh ideas, and a shared commitment to community as we continue to evolve helps to amplify our work,” said Melissa Curtin, President & CEO. “We are grateful to these community leaders who have given and done so much through the years to make Howard County what it is today.”

Board of Trustees Chair Barbara Rishel added, “Our Leadership Council reflects both the history and the strength of the Foundation. Their continued engagement and thoughtful guidance help ensure we remain grounded, strategic, and focused on long-term impact.”

We are grateful for the leadership and partnership of this extraordinary group and look forward to continuing the conversation at our Spring Party on May 14 at The Elkridge Furnace Inn.
