Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy Set for December 5

Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy Set for December 5

The Community Foundation of Howard County’s Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy will take place on Tuesday, December 5* at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City. Please join us as we gather for a joyous evening of food, fellowship and philanthropy!

The evening starts with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., followed by a seated dinner and program highlighted by awarding the foundation’s Philanthropist of the Year. Please join us in honoring Dr. Carlessia Hussein and Howard Hughes Holdings as our individual and corporate recipients.

In addition to honoring the Philanthropists of the Year, the foundation will present the Leadership Council Award to an up and coming nonprofit leader and the Casey & Pebble Willis “Making a Difference” Award, which recognizes a nonprofit doing great work in our community.

Since some have asked, dress code for the event is elegant business attire. Individual tickets for the dinner are $100 (early bird price until Nov. 14) and can be purchased with the link below. Tickets will be $125 starting Nov. 15.

*Please note that to maximize attendance for members of our community, this event was moved to Tuesday, December 5.

A sponsorship gives your business valuable exposure and visibility to an active, desirable demographic of movers and shakers across Howard County, while showing your support of local nonprofits. All sponsorships include tickets to the dinner, and a portion of your sponsorship is a tax-deductible donation to the foundation.

Please consider a sponsorship to provide exposure for your business and to help the foundation with its strategic mission to connect people, places and organizations to worthy causes across Howard County and beyond. Questions? Please contact Dan Flynn at or 410-730-7840 x8.
