What’s Happening at CFHC This Spring

Spring is in full swing, and there are so many ways to connect, learn, and engage with the Community Foundation of Howard County.

Whether you’re interested in deepening your understanding of local philanthropy, exploring grantmaking, or simply spending time with others who care about this community, we invite you to join us.

  • Have questions about grants or nonprofit funding? Join us virtually for Ask Dee! on May 12, where CFHC’s Dee Athey will share insights and answer questions about all things grantmaking.
  • Looking to celebrate community and generosity? Don’t miss our Spring Party on May 14 at the Elkridge Furnace Inn – an evening to come together and celebrate the heart of philanthropy in Howard County.
  • For those interested in learning more about giving, join us for givinglab. on May 20 – a virtual lunch & learn with Dan Flynn focused on smart and impactful giving.
  • And, you can start your day with Mornings with Melissa on May 27 at Athol Manor – a relaxed opportunity for coffee, conversation, and connection with CFHC’s President & CEO, Melissa Curtin.

Each of these opportunities reflects what CFHC is all about: bringing people together, strengthening nonprofits, and supporting a thriving Howard County.

We hope you’ll join us.
