Harold “Chip” Lewis Lundy, a loyal friend and former member of the foundation’s Board of Trustees, passed away surrounded by loved ones at the age of 81 on December 11.
Chip was the loving husband of Cathy Lundy. Father of Laurie Lundy, Dianne (Scott) Heeter, Kerry (Chris) Burton. Brother of Vera Jones. “Daddy-Chip” to eight grandchildren, Sarah Heeter, Jacob Heeter, Meghan Burton, Taylor Bean, Matthew Heeter, Joshua Burton, Brandon Bean and Benjamin Burton.
The founder of Williamsburg Homes, Chip faithfully served his family, church and community. A true servant-leader, he was a generous supporter of our community, and he served on several nonprofit boards across Howard County. The Lundy Family was the inaugural recipient of the foundation’s Philanthropist of the Year award in 2012.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Grace Community Church. The church is located at 8200 Old Columbia Road in Fulton.
