Ryan served as the director of the Office of Emergency Management for Howard County from 2013-2019 and spearheaded the county’s response to floods in Ellicott City.
The two discuss Ryan’s career in emergency management, response efforts to disasters in Howard County over the last decade and the invaluable role the Community Foundation plays in relief efforts.
