Each year, the Community Foundation of Howard County brings our community together for the Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy, an evening dedicated to recognizing the people and organizations whose generosity, leadership, and service are making a meaningful impact in Howard County. Together, they represent the heart of philanthropy in our community. The Celebration brings together donors, nonprofit partners, business and community leaders, and friends from across Howard County to honor outstanding local philanthropy, connect with one another, and celebrate the many ways generosity strengthens our community.

The evening begins with a community social hour at 6 p.m., followed by a plated dinner and program celebrating the people and organizations at the heart of philanthropy in Howard County, including the presentation of CFHC’s 2026 philanthropy awards.
This year, CFHC will honor individuals, families, businesses, organizations, and emerging leaders whose generosity, leadership, and service strengthen Howard County. The 2026 Celebration will recognize our Philanthropists of the Year in two categories, Individual or Family and Business or Organization, along with recipients of the new Youth Philanthropy Award, the new Professional Advisor Philanthropy Award, the Casey & Pebble Willis “Making a Difference” Award, the Jean Moon Legacy Builder Award, and the Leadership Council Award. Together, these honorees represent the many ways philanthropy creates meaningful impact across our community.
