The Legacy of James Rouse

Thank you for attending the “A Garden for the Growing of People” presentation. James Rouse founded our community foundation in 1969 with the understanding that government could only provide so many services for citizens, and that private philanthropy and a robust nonprofit community would be needed to do the rest.
