The current situation at Howard County General Hospital is exponentially worse than at any earlier point in the pandemic, with more COVID patients, staff vacancies and more staff members who have to call out every day due to being sick with or exposed to COVID.
To help the staff that is stretched extremely thin, we are raising funds to provide more resources and support through meals and snacks, stress relief kits, and 10-minute seated massages, among other things.
Hima and Rajiv Jain have established the “Jain Matching Fund for HCGH” at the Community Foundation of Howard County. This fund will support mini recharge rooms for overworked staff at HCGH. The Jain Family Foundation will match donations up to $5,000.
