The Community Foundation of Howard County’s Financial Advisor Program allows you to continue to manage your clients’ assets even as we establish and manage their charitable funds.

By doing so, we can smoothly and easily facilitate donations of complex assets, including real estate, closely-held interests, personal property and life insurance.

Since the Community Foundation of Howard County is a public charity, donations to a client’s fund provide significant tax advantages including:

Immediate eligibility for the maximum tax deduction allowed by law

Reductions in capital gains tax

Receiving a life income stream
