Donor-Advised Grants

Bob Jeffrey
“Bach and I wanted to give a more meaningful gift than our usual to the Community Foundation of Howard County so we met with the staff and discussed our options. They provided a broad range of funding opportunities to support nonprofits and needs in the county. When the Women’s Giving Circle and Junior Achievement were mentioned, it all came together for us. Years ago Bach had been a member of the circle and I participated in Junior Achievement when I was in high school. The idea of educating women about business through Junior Achievement of Central Maryland’s Rising Women program also truly resonated with us. We were thrilled to provide funding that has had such an immediate impact for a nonprofit and potentially long-term impacts for young women.” – Bob Jeffrey
