Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy Set for December 10

The Community Foundation of Howard County’s Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy will take place on Tuesday, December 10 at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City. Please join us as we gather for a joyous evening of food, fellowship and philanthropy!

The evening starts with a delightful cocktail reception at 6 p.m., followed by a delicious seated dinner and program highlighted by the presentation of the foundation’s Philanthropist of the Year.

We’re delighted to honor Greg and Roberta Kahlert and The Kahlert Foundation as this year’s recipients. The Kahlert Foundation has been a remarkable benefactor to nonprofits across central Maryland, especially in the areas of health care, education, youth programs, veterans’ causes and human services. The Kahlert Foundation has supported institutions and organizations big and small for decades, and has made a tangible impact in the lives of so many Howard County residents.

In addition, the foundation will highlight the rich history and accomplishments of HoCoPoLitSo, a treasured arts nonprofit and endowed agency fund at CFHoCo, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The Annual Dinner & Celebration of Philanthropy is also an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the terrific work of nonprofits and volunteers. The foundation will present the Leadership Council Award to an up and coming nonprofit leader, the Casey & Pebble Willis “Making a Difference” Award, spotlighting a nonprofit doing great work in our community, along with the Amanda and Jill Dean Direct Support Professional Award.

Since some have asked, dress code for the event is elegant business attire. Individual tickets for the dinner are $100 (early bird price until Nov. 15) and can be purchased with the link below. Tickets will be $125 starting Nov. 16.

SPONSORSHIP

A sponsorship gives your business valuable exposure and visibility to an active, desirable demographic of movers and shakers across Howard County, while showing your support of local nonprofits. All sponsorships include tickets to the dinner, and a portion of your sponsorship is a tax-deductible donation to the foundation.

Please consider a sponsorship to provide exposure for your business and to help the foundation with its strategic mission to connect people, places and organizations to worthy causes across Howard County and beyond.

Sponsorships can be paid by check or online. For more information, please download a copy of the Sponsorship Opportunities deck below. Questions? Please contact Dan Flynn at dflynn@cfhoco.org or 410-730-7840 x8.
